Hey! Happy Monday. Today I bring you my latest pattern test I did for Designer Stitch. The name of the pattern is the JoJo Top Tunic Dress Sewing Pattern. I can’t say enough amazing things about this pattern. I mean, it’s called the JoJo! Enough said, let’s get into it.
JoJo Cowl Neck Version
Ok, lets talk about this amazing pattern by Designer Stitch. Originally, I was going to make the dress with a hood, but then changed my mind to the tunic with the cowl neck. While I was making my top, I decided that I was going to make a matching pencil skirt to go with my top.
Construction & Fabric
Originally, I cut a size 5 based on my body measurements. Once I tried it on, I decided that I was going to grade down to a size 4 because the top has a lot of ease. Since I wanted to make a matching pencil skirt, I decided that the tunic length would be too long so I decided to shorten it by 3 inches and add a waistband to the botton.
I picked up this Flecked Ponte Knit from JOANNS Fabrics while it was on sale for 60% off not knowing what I was going to make with it. When the tester call came for the JoJo, I pulled this right out of my stash and I think it worked out perfectly. Now, I wish I had gotten more of this fabric because I have so many other projects in mind for it.

I previously metioned that the JoJo Top Tunic Dress had endless possibilities and I wasn’t lying! Below are the different variations available for this pattern:

I couldn’t wait until this pattern was released because I just KNEW you guys were going to love this. Desinger Stitch just released the JoJo Top Tunic Dress Pattern and it’s on SALE NOW and you can get your very own HERE.
I would just like to say that I’ve been testing for Designer Stitch Patterns for over a year now and I just love her patterns. The pattern instructions are always easy to follow and contain great illustrations to follow along. You also get different print versions of the pattern (print shop and print at home versions). She has also included a trimless version! What does that mean? That means NO TRIMMING AT ALL!!! All you have to do is match up the pattern pieces where indicated and tape them together. Have you noticed this is my favorite feature? Here are a few other pattern tests I’ve done for Designer Stitch, just incase you were on the fence about purchasing a Designer Stitch PDF pattern:
