Happy Easter Weekend All! Today I wanted to bring you all my memade garments for the first quarter of 2019. I’ve always wanted to do a recap of all the things I’ve sewn just so I can see all the progress I have made. I plan on doing these moving forward and sharing them all with you!
1. OGDEN CAMI PATTERN HACK – FLOWY CAMI TUTORIAL
This is my most recent make and it’s a pattern hack of the
Ogden Cami by True Bias. Click on the title link to check out my tutorial on how to achive this look.
I made the Crew Bodycon Dress as part of a pattern test for Kommatia Patterns. If you’re looking to get your sewjo back, this is the pattern for you.
3. DIY Retro Polka Dot Dress Using Butterick 6318
This dress was my final submission for my Sewn Magazine feature for the March/April publication. If you don’t subscribe to Sewn Magazine, you’re missing out!
This was my initial submission for my Sewn Magazine feature. I didn’t really like it and neither did Michelle (Sewn Magazine Owner) so I went back to the drawing board on this one.
4. Vogue 9318
5. DIY Mother and Son Academi Cardigans
Our matching Academi Cardigans were part of my monthly post for my The Eli Monster Ambassadorship. I finally did a Mommy and Me look for me and my little dude.
6. DIY Tracksuit using Mimi G Style X Simplicity 8702
This tracksuit is absolutely my favorite make of this quarter. Everyone loved my tracksuit and it wasn’t difficult to sew together. Also, these were my first pair of pants.
7. DIY Bomber Jacket Using M7636
I used the same fabric for this make as I used for my Bruges Bomber Jacket that I made last year. This fabric is everything. My friend purchased it for me when she went to Paris a few years ago.
8. The Weekendje Kimono from The Eli Monster
This was my The Eli Monster brand ambassador make for February. Another easy make in the books. In this post I shared how I used french seams to make this kimono.
9. DIY JoJo Cowl Neck Top with Matching Pencil Skirt
The JoJo Cowl Neck Top was a pattern test I did for Designer Stitch. You should already know I’m a fan because it’s named after me! I used Mimi G’s 30 min Pencil Skirt Tutorial to make the skirt.
10. DIY Red Hearts Ruffle Sweater Using McCall’s 7688
This was my Sewn Magazine feature for the January/February publication.
And there you have it folks. I was able to make 9 garments in the 1st quarter of 2019. Hope you enjoy them. Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments.
