Hi Guys! I’m so excited to announce the release of the Remi Cami Top Dress by Designer Stitch. The Remi is so perfect for these hot summer days because of the sleeveless cami style of it. I’m going to share just how easy it is to make the Remi Cami Top Dress.

Construction and Fabric Choice
The Remi Cami Top Dress is my latest pattern test for Designer Stitch. I’ve done several pattern tests for Designer Stitch that you can read about HERE and HERE. This pattern is a total no brainer. The Remi Cami Top Dress pattern comes in 3 length: High Thigh, Above Knee, and Midi and features a high low hemline. I made the above knee view and cut my dress in a size 4 graded to a size 5. I put the side seams together using a french seam finish so that my fabric edge would not show. French seams are great because they give you a very clean finish. Although the pattern instructions explain french seams in great detail, I have a pictorial HERE. You can also watch a video explanation on my Highlights on my Instagram HERE.
For my fabric choice, I decided to go with this Bandana Blue Cotton Calico Fabric from Hobby Lobby. I purchased this this fabric a while ago on sale and it’s on sale now.
The Remi Cami Top dress is very similar to my Ogden Cami Hack that I did HERE. The difference is that the Remi has side darts and comes in different cup sizes so you fine tune the fit of your dress.
The Remi Cami Top Dress is the perfect quick sew project. You can definitely make this in one afternoon. The Remi was just released and is on sale right now HERE. The best part is that this is a PDF pattern so you can download it right now and get started right away! Don’t be scared of PDF patterns. I show you just how easy it is to put together Designer Stitch PDF patterns HERE in my IG Highlights.
I would love to see your Remi Cami’s. Make sure you tag @designerstitch and @soveryjo when you post it, cuz I wanna see too!
Until next time!
Johanna
