Hi Guys! I know, it’s been a while. We are so excited to have partnered with Black Sewing Network and several other sewing groups from around the country to host International Sewing Day of Service. All of the different groups participating will collectively be coming together to host events in their respective cites and each will be sewing for a charity or their local community on November 15, 2025.
South Florida Frocktails, SewFlo Connect and SoFlo Sews will be coming together on November 15, 2025 at the Co-Space in Miami Gardens, FL and we will be sewing for PASHI Period Project. PASHI is an organization that provides reusable pads to women and girls in need. We will be sewing up wet bags for this organization. You can read more information on PASHI HERE.
During this hands-on service event, attendees will:
Learn how to sew wet bags for the PASHI Period Project
Bring your sewing machine and your favorite tools and notions you might want to use.
We will be providing everything you need to sew up the wet bags, but feel free to bring cotton, quilting cotton or Ankara Fabric. Lite bites will be served.
We will be sewing wet bags from 9 – 11 AM. Bring your favorite project for open sew from 11 – 3 PM. Basic sewing knowledge is recommended.
