Some of My Favorite Makes From 2021

I can’t believe the end has come! Is it really about to be 2022 tomorrow? This wasn’t the best year of my life, but it was certainly WAY better than 2020 was. I got to see family this year and actually traveled a little bit. I’m not one to keep track of all my makes and as I was looking through some of my favorite makes from 2021, I realized that I didn’t even blog about them all. Some of them didn’t get a dedicated blog post and that is something I’m promising myself, I’ll be better about. What happens sometimes is that I have deadlines to meet and then can’t post about it for months, then I forget or life gets in the way. I promise that I will be better about it next year. I swear. I owe it to me and to you. So without further ado, let’s get right into it. Below are some of my favorite makes from 2021 in no particular order.

So, I did write blog posts for the majority of these looks so I’ll provide links to the posts. If I did not write a blog post, I’ll post a link to my IG posts. I’m not going to be re-writing my blog posts, so make sure you click on the links of the looks that interest you.

Zen Blazer and Black Ball Gown Skirt – This entire look is a vibe for me. My girl Jazz (@sewmuchjazz) started making patterns this year and of course I wanted to be part of the pattern testing team. I made her Zen Blazer and I paired it with this gorgeous black ball gown skirt. This pattern is from @ellissewingco. You can get links and read all about this look HERE.

I do have something else on my cutting table, but I don’t think I’ll be done before the ball drops, we’ll see. For now, you can read all about my set HERE.

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed my 2021 round up of some of my favorite makes. It was a little difficult to decided and not list them all. I still can’t believe I have a few garments I didn’t blog about. That makes me sad and promise to be better about it in the upcoming year.

Thank you all who took the time of your busy schedules and supported my blo and me. It really means the world to me. I’ve got a few things planned for next year and I’m already planning out my up coming collaborations. I want to bring you all more content on a consistent basis and I also want to focus more on the beginner sewist. I was there once and I get it. We need all the help we can get and I want to help by sharing all of the invaluable information I’ve gained through out the years.

Until Next Year Boos. I love you ALL. Happy New Year! 2022 HERE WE COME!

xoxo,

Johanna
